• Teams are required to pay the full team fee in order to secure their registration.
• We will close the registraion once we reach 16 teams.
• Teams with successful registration will receive a confirmation email from the organisers.
• In the event the tournament does not reach 16 teams, it will proceed with a minimum of 12 teams. Should the tournament be cancelled, team fees will be fully refunded.
G10.1. All teams must complete and submit their roster by 5th January via Ultiscore.

DIVISIONS, POOL & GENDER RATIO
Divisions & Pool Format
• Mixed Division: Swiss + Playoffs (Finals & Placement)
• Team shall play according to ABBA or BBAA ratio call
GAME DURATION
• Gametime is 45 Minutes for all rounds
Score Cap
• All Rounds: 13 goals.
Half-Time Target
• Pool Matches: 7 goals.
• Crossover / Knockout: 7 goals.
• Final: 8 goals.
Half-Time Cap & Procedure
• All Stages (25th Minute)
• If by the half-time cap time the half time target has not been reached, play continues until the current point is completed.
• Mirror Half
• At half-time, teams shall switch playing ends.
Half Time Break
• All Stages: No break.
Time Out
• Each team is entitled to two (1) time-out per game.
• Each time-out shall last 75 seconds.
Time Cap
All Stages
• A time cap shall occur at the scheduled end of game time (45 minutes), if neither team has reached the score cap.
• The current point shall be completed.
• At the conclusion of that point, the game shall end, regardless of whether the score cap has been reached.
• No +1 adjustment shall apply.
• If the game is tied at the conclusion of the point, an additional point shall be played (“universe point”) until a winner is determined.
Tie Breakers
• Number of games won, counting only games between the tied teams.
• Fewest games forfeited.
• Goal difference, counting only games between the tied teams.
• Goal difference, counting games against all common opponents.
• Goals scored per game, counting only games between the tied teams.
• Goals scored per game, counting games against all common opponents.
• If still tied:
• Each team nominates one player to throw one disc from behind the goal line to the far brick mark.
• Throwing order shall be determined by a disc toss or other random method.
• Teams are ranked by distance from disc resting place to brick mark (closest to furthest).

Scorekeeper's Policy
Appointment
• Each game will have an official scorekeeper assigned by the Tournament Organizer.
Responsibilities
• Scorekeepers are responsible for:
• Recording and updating the score.
• Tracking game statistics (as directed by the organizers).
Limitations
• Scorekeepers will not provide rulings, interpretations, or advice on the rules of the game.
Team Responsibility
• Teams are fully responsible for adhering to the tournament rules and regulations.
• Teams must inform the scorekeeper immediately if discrepancies in score or stats are observed.
Timing Policy
Running Clock
• All games are played with a running central clock according to the scheduled game duration.
Stoppages
• The game clock shall only stop in the following situations:
• Spirit Time-Out – initiated by team captains in accordance with WFDF Spirit Guidelines.
• Weather Suspension – e.g., lightning, unsafe playing conditions, or other safety concerns as determined by the Tournament Director or Game Officials.
Resumption
• Upon resumption of play, the Tournament Director will confirm:
• Remaining game time, or
• Any adjustments (e.g., shortened games, modified caps) necessary to maintain the overall schedule.)
• Lightning Detection & Game Suspension
• If lightning is detected within 10 km (6 miles) of the venue, all games will be immediately suspended. We will use 30-30 rule: If the interval between seeing lightning and hearing thunder is 30 seconds or less, play must be stopped.
• An official announcement by the Tournament Director (TD) or Game Officials shall signal the suspension of play.
• Players, officials, and spectators must seek shelter immediately in safe areas:
• Indoor facilities or enclosed buildings
• Fully enclosed vehicles with windows rolled up.
• Avoid open fields, metal structures, trees, and tents without grounding.
• Waiting Period & Resumption of Play
• Play will remain suspended for a minimum of 30 minutes after the last observed lightning strike within 10 km.
• Each new lightning strike resets the 30-minute waiting period.
• The Tournament Director and Game Officials will monitor conditions and decide whether to resume play, delay further, or cancel games.
• Game Adjustments After Lightning Delay
• If a delay significantly affects the tournament schedule, the following adjustments may be made:
• Shortened game durations (e.g., reducing game time or implementing point caps).
• Modified tournament format (e.g., adjusting bracket progression).
• Rescheduling of key games, if feasible.
• Cancellation of games where resumption is not possible.
• Determining Game Results for Canceled Matches
• If a game is canceled due to lightning, the result will be determined as follows:
• If 50% or more of the game has been played, the score at the time of stoppage will be considered final.
• If less than 50% of the game has been played, the game may be declared a no contest (not counted in standings).
• If a winner must be determined (e.g., elimination rounds), the outcome will be decided by a coin toss conducted by the Tournament Director.
• Communication & Updates
• Teams will receive updates through official tournament communication channels, including:
• On-site announcements from the Tournament Director.
• Official tournament website or social media platforms.
• Teams are responsible for staying informed and prepared to resume play once conditions allow.
